Dr. Tour is a synthetic organic chemist who specializes in nanotechnology. He serves as the T. T. and W. F. Chao Professor of Chemistry, Professor of Materials Science and NanoEngineering, and Professor of Computer Science at Rice University. He was born and raised a Jew in the New York City area. While in college in 1977, he asked Jesus to forgive him for his sins and to come into his heart.
