As long as you have your OWN router on hand, with a WAN port on the backside, you'll be able to get your internet back once you call customer care and switch the ONT from Coax (Coaxial) to Ethernet. You can easily run your own ethernet cable from the ONT (Optical Network Terminal) to your router. As simple as plugging in an extension cord to a 110V outlet..it's actually easier than that!
