Probably the best method. Noco battery terminal cleaner kit works great for all car battery terminal corrosion. It comes with corrosion & acid cleaner spray to clean top posts or side terminals easily. Changes color from yellow to red indicating battery corrosion areas that need further cleaning. Let sit for up to 4 minutes, wash away with water. Battery brush included in kit to clean inside and outside battery terminals for top post style batteries. 2 battery terminal felt protectors included, presoaked in protection oil. Small cutout in the felt protectors to change sizing quick and easy for use with side posts. Top it off with battery terminal protector spray to prevent and slow down future corrosion.
