App Gear Co was founded with a simple goal in mind: to create a performance product line using natural fibers that gives customers an ecofriendly alternative to polyester and nylon. The execution was not so simple, but we persevered and did something no one else had ever been able to do make a lightweight performance fabric out of 100% alpaca. Today that spirit of innovation is as strong as ever, and we intend to keep pushing the boundaries of what sustainable outdoor performance gear can (and should) be.
