Brining a turkey is key to enjoying a moist turkey for your Thanksgiving dinner. Brining is the act of submerging your choice meat in a salt solution which allows the meat to absorb the water (and seasonings).
Ingredients:
During the boiling process
2 gallons water
1 cup salt
1.5 ounce (from 3 ou. jar) Wildtree Rancher Steak Rub
Peppercorns
During the cool down process
24 ou Maple syrup
24 on Honey
When Brine is cool
2 cups oranges (I used limes this time)
2 cups lemons

Wildtree Rancher Steak Rub ingredients:
sea salt, organic black pepper, organic garlic, organic allspice, organic cinnamon, organic cloves, organic ginger
Be sure your brine is cooled before you submerge your turkey to avoid the growth of salmonella bacteria. Let your poultry be submerged 4 hours or longer in the refrigerator or a cooler with ice. You may cook your meat anyway you choose by baking, roasting, smoking, etc.
