On May 8, 2024, a FedEx Federal Express Boeing 767300 freighter, registration N110FE performing flight FX6238 from Paris Charles de Gaulle (France) to Istanbul (Turkey), was on final approach to Istanbul's runway 16R when the crew initiated a goaround from about 1800 feet MSL due to an unsafe indication for the nose gear. The aircraft performed a low approach to runway 16R about 25 minutes later, positioned for another approach to runway 16R, and landed without nose gear on runway 16R at about 08:17L (05:17Z) about 40 minutes after the first go around. There were no injuries.
