This is the fourth video in a five part series addressing the relatively straightforward job of replacing the Intermediate Shaft Bearing (IMS) and Rear Main Seal (RMS) on a 986 Porsche Boxster. While replacing those two items is straightforward, actually getting to them is a different matter . . .

In the penultimate video I remove the chain tensioners so the IMS bearing can come out. I then show how using the right tools makes this a very straightforward job. I also discover the original IMS is in perfect working order . . .
