This video demonstrates the Weighted Base I have designed specifically for my 5 foot diameter bownet system. It is a quick folding, portable unit. It is fast to deploy and take down. It makes the bownet system much more versatile, enabling set up on hard or very soft surfaces where staking down is not possible or desired. Uses include, Trapping for Hawks, Falcons, and birds from the size of Starling to Redtailed hawks. They are currently being used successfully to capture Owls, Hawks, and Falcons for Falconry. Also many bird species for Research, Capture and Relocation from Airports of Hawks and Owls including Snowy Owls captured on frozen ground in the winter.
