This is my cover of the "Gerudo Town" music from Legend of Zelda, Breath of the Wild. It is an extended version of the Gerudo movement in my BotW Epic Orchestra Medley (you can hear the full thing here:    • Breath of the Wild Epic Orchestral Me...   ). That movement, along with the "Rito" section may have been the funnest part to compose. ^_^

I've wanted to create a slightly more "mystical" sounding variation of this track for quite a while, since I found the original song in the game to be nothing short of captivating. With this piece, I share my feelings about the Gerudo culture, Riju, Urbosa and the desert region in general. I tried to paint a musical picture that incorporated both the nighttime and daytime, as well as all those gorgeous fabrics and sparkling fashions. The latter part of the song represents the player wandering away from the town, possibly at dusk. It's a stark transition from the bustling settlement into the barren sand, sort of inspired by a long time hero of mine, Andreas Vollenweider.
