Botulinum Toxin has always stuck to the top half of the face but more so than ever the muscle relaxing injections have moved further down the face! By careful and strategic placing, botulinum toxin in in the lower face can improve structure and contour to the jaw and neck area.

You can use botulinum toxin in the lower part of the face. From the last video you will remember I said generally botulinum toxin is above the eyes and filler is below the eyes. Although there are exceptions to this. Botulinum toxin relaxes muscles, so what we can use it for is just under the jaw, three little injections to relax and lift up the platysmal muscle which pulls down area. The jowl area will also be benefited by this, this is called the Nefertiti lift.
