Thursday morning, April 7, 2022. A strong wind warning and a rising easterly swell put most boaties off heading offshore this morning. One boat attempted the crossing, however, and was nearly swamped in the process. BOM forecast is for south easterly winds 15 to 25 knots, increasing to 20 to 30 knots offshore. Seas: 1.5 to 2 metres.
