It’s time for a mighty BMW v AMG v Audi drag race!

Mat’s lining up in his longtermer BMW M3, which is powered by a 3litre twinturbo straightsix that can put down 510hp & 650Nm of torque. It weighs in at 1,730kg and if you’re looking to pick one up, it’ll set you back at least £75,000.

On the opposite side of the strip, we have our newest longtermer, the Audi RS5 Sportback. It may be slightly down on power, producing 450hp & 600Nm from its 2.9litre twinturbo V6, but it has one advantage over the M3 it’s equipped with Quattro allwheeldrive! The weight is almost identical, at 1,745kg, and it’s also slightly cheaper, at £71,000.

Then finally we have the AMG C63 Black Series! It’s housing a monstrous 6.2litre naturallyaspirated V8 under the bonnet, which can put down 517hp & 620Nm. It’s the lightest car here, at 1,710kg, but it’ll also cost you the most (in 2021, at least), with a price tag of £110,000.

So, how will this one play out? Will the classic C63 Black snatch it? Or will it be a walkover for the M3? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE!
