Meeting owner Eric Hollenbeck at Blue Ox Millworks and Historic Village in Eureka, California was a special treat for us. Blue Ox Millworks and Historic Village is a place unlike anything we've seen before. We were introduced to Rainbow who showed us some historic wood milling machinery that they've collected over the years and Eric demonstrated how they work. Once outside in the historic district, we learned about blacksmiths, making stained glass and jewelry. There's so much to see and learn at Blue Ox Millworks and Historic Village that we couldn't even show it all. Definitely a unique stop if you find yourself far up north in Eureka, California.
