I've never subscribed to a mealkit service before, but in this video, I will honestly test each service, and list the pros, cons, and latest prices. And I’ll explain who could benefit most from a Blue Apron subscription.
Blue Apron was founded in 2012 and was delivering more than one million meals a month two years later.
But after going public in 2017, its value has fallen faster than a souffle in an earthquake, plummeting more than 95%.
After signing up on their website, I examined the dishes available and selected three. Besides their signature menus, they also offer vegetarian options. To help you choose, some recipes are labeled “Carb conscious” while others are designed in partnership with “Weight Watchers.”
For each dish, I could get enough for 2 or 4 servings. I could see the ingredients, stepbystep instructions with illustrations and complete calorie counts and nutritional information.
The down sides? There were only 9 options at the base price of $10 a serving. Some dishes marked “Premium” means you have to pay extra to get it. The three dishes I selected were:

Glazed Salmon & Cilantro Rice Bowls
Beef & ShawarmaSpiced Rice
Spicy Glazed Chicken and Honey Butter Corn
