After a young drifter, Jimmy Pearls, discovers the brutal truth about his parents' murder, he seeks revenge and inadvertently becomes a fugitive. To escape the wrath of Henry Logan, he finds refuge in the mountains and encounters Winston Patrick Culler, an enigmatic trapper. As Culler becomes Jimmy's unlikely guardian, the young man grapples with the mysteries behind Culler's unexpected aid, questioning his own path of vengeance and the motivations of his newfound protector.
