Many years ago, our nations were built by brave, adventurous pioneers. People who dared to break out of the traditions and habits that they were accustomed to, in order to find something better, and build a life and legacy that could be passed on through the generations. The journey was long, many got tired, but the wagon master had blazed these trails before. He knew the path they were taking, and where the biggest, truest enemies lie. Those who trusted and submitted to his guidance made it safely to the other side.

Today, the world in which we live is a dangerous place. There are things we can be afraid of, everywhere we turn, and it is easy to become distracted, allowing our values and principles to be influenced by the wrong voices speaking into our lives. The only way to make it to the "land of promise" (Phil.1:6) is to align ourselves with the right wagon master, submit, and surrender only to His voice, shutting out all others that would derail us from His plan.
