From hauntings, demonic activity, and secret cult meetings, Black Star Canyon in Orange County, California has been the source of many myths, legends, and folktales. It might even be home to one of the largest Indian massacres in Southern California’s history. Whether you believe the folklore or not, there is no question that Black Star Canyon is one of the most scenic and beautiful hiking trails in Orange County with a lot to offer; a waterfall, Indian ruins, and the remains of a summer cottage from the 1930’s at the top of the Santa Ana Mountains.
