It was even believed that Ra, the Sun God would transform into a cat when he went down into another realm to defeat his enemy. Ra's daughter Bastet took form as a wild lioness and later a domesticated cat. Cats are a powerful species with magnificent gifts. So next time you see a black cat remember that it may not mean bad luck! ☺
