I decided to make a video in response to many negative comments I see every day about Björn— how he “treated Agnetha badly” or how he speaks of her poorly, how he was this and that and all the ridiculous ways you can blame a person. It doesn’t make sense to me because he always spoke of her respectfully, treated her respectfully, and it is saddening people hold such grudges and can hate someone that has done nothing wrong. People need to remember that Björn and Agnetha’s divorce isn’t the first, surely not the last. Björn is often the one blamed for the failure of the divorce which is not true. The cause of the divorce was not because he had been unfaithful to Agnetha, either. Why is he to blame for moving on quickly when Agnetha too was in relationships around the same time he was?

I’ve also heard ridiculous things saying Björn didn’t find Agnetha attractive– that’s false, easily, he admits it many times, even within more recent interviews.

Sure, it’s possible during their prime years both were under pressure and had certain focuses but it doesn’t mean one is right and the other incorrect. As you can see, Björn admits he understands Agnetha much better “today” than he did before. The divorce was over 40 years ago and to still bring it up, that he “failed” Agnetha, well, that is unfair.
