BINK Looper is a free Ableton plugin used to facilitate advanced looping techniques. With this device, you can preprogram loop length, as well as the amount of time it waits before triggering the loop. Using neighboring effects channels and dummy clips, you can also use this technique to automate effect automation in realtime (and eliminate crosschannel bleed).

*CORRECTIONS & CLARIFICATION*
I didn't mention it anywhere, but make sure your global quantization is set to 1 bar.
The "Stop" function on Bink Looper is for stopping the clip directly after it's recorded. Toggling that on will keep the clip from playing back immediately.
I didn't mention this in the video to save time, but I find that it's good practice to delete/move the source files of your Dummy Clips so that Ableton can't find them. Rather than playing a silent clip, it'll be playing the empty shell of a clip.
In the last part of the video, I labeled one of the long dummy clips incorrectly. The clip on Audio 1 (EFX) should say "Open 8 Mute 8 Open Forever."
