Looking back on the beginning of my journey as an author, a decade ago, I had a video made that now serves as a poignant reminder of my humble start. It depicts the early drafts of my books and showcases my steadfast dedication to improving children's literature. From the outset, my goal has been clear: to infuse my stories with themes of kindness, empathy, diversity, and inclusion, particularly for children and families navigating bilingualism and English as a second language. The path has been challenging, especially in the face of the COVID19 pandemic. Yet, driven by faith and determination, I pushed forward, supported by incredible individuals who believed in me. Chief among them is my mother, whose unwavering support has been my rock. Alongside her, I've been fortunate to have the encouragement of children, caring friends, and friends as far as Greece and Berlin, educators, church family(Holy Apostles), and supporters of my books and my journey. Business coaches and mentors whose guidance has been indispensable. I am deeply grateful to them for helping me navigate the obstacles and continue my journey.
