Big Sitka Spruce Tree near the Queets River in the Olympic Peninsula
This is my favorite video to pay homage to a magnificent specimen of Picea sitchensis or Sitka Spruce. This appears to be very healthy and among the old growth that surrounds. Standing in the shadow of this Giant can easily conjure feelings of standing in a grand cathedral, one dedicated to worship of life itself.
