The big Perch crush our drop shot lures and worms in a brilliant session on one of my favourite lochs.

I was joined by my good friend Douglas from @PiscatorUKFishing for a day out on Reel Time the Orkney Coastliner 14. To be honest we were flexible in our plans, all we wanted was a good day out catching fish any fish, no specific target species.

Loch Awe did not disappoint and we soon into some smaller Perch that just got bigger and bigger as the day went on. A Jack Pike also got in on the act.

I'd say the hardest part of the day was calling time. We travelled back to the pontoons with the navigation lights on. It was a beautiful end to a fantastic day.
