We all want to be able to use our patio year round. The problem is, if your in a cold climate, you really cant ever use your patio all winter. If your like me you love sitting out on your patio, and its a huge bummer to loose the space for half a year.

In this video I am going to show you how I heat my space and can sit outside for the entire year! Even in an open patio setting. Here is kind of a breakdown of how I do it.

I have a gas firepit
Although I have a gas firepit its important to note that I use this primarily for ambiance only. The fire pit does throw off some heat, but not enough for me to sit outside all year. So you have to supplement the fireplace or firepit.

Why I don’t like gas heaters

The problem with gas heaters, is even they may “throw off” more heat then electric, they really only work well in a fully covered setting. And the reason is, the heat just goes straight up. So unless you have a roof you are going to loose all the heat out the top. The main idea here, is gas vs. electric patio heaters which one is best to choose? And the answer is clear, always go electric!

Why I choose infra tech electric heaters

The answer Is simple, they heat using infrared technology. So the idea is, they heat objects. Not space. The best illustration I can give, is when the heaters are on, it feels like your sitting in the sunshine. The sunshine really keeps you nice and toasty. And that is what these heaters do. That is why I chose them, and with these heaters up. I can sit outside year round even in the winter!
