This is the 7th episode of our occasional series of The Airbrush Show (Series 2) by Scale War Machines (http://www.scalewarmachines.com). We’ve been focussing on lots of different subjects in 2020 and 2021, so The Airbrush Show has been quite sporadic, but it will return more often this year.

In this episode, we look at some of the best value airbrushes out there, made by worldrenowned American firm, Badger, including their Sotar 2020 Black and Gold “Year of the Sotar” Limited Edition airbrushes, made for fine detail work.

These are great airbrushes, really unique and different to operate, a joy to use and they fit snuggly, almost penlike, in your hand. They are really good at detail painting and have bunch of novel features like the easytoremove needle, the triggertensioner, the exposed needle for painttipdry removal and a precisely controllable paint volume limiter.

We test out both models of Sotar in a variety of ways within the video.
