I don't think I've ever been so excited to test out a new laser! The LaserPecker3 is a small, very portable yet powerful galvo laser. Technically, it is a pulse laser, but powerful enough to etch metals and plastics. While that would technically be classified as a "fiber" laser of sorts, it's not quite the same. The wavelength is such that it will engrave metals and plastics. While it's only 1W (10mw = 1w), it can absolutely pack a punch! Imagine being able to take this lil guy to craft shows and provide customization onthespot (with the safety cover, of course)! It would pay for itself in no time at all!

Note in the video I do incorrectly say "fiber" a couple of times. I'm marking metals better than I have been able to with a diode to this point and without dropping $10,000+ for a MOPA, so I'm happy either way.
