The World Championship Show consisted of 2 independent shows held at the same time and place, designated as the Red Show and the Purple Show.

4 cats were chosen from each of these 2 shows to compete for best overall cat. Choosing was judge Larry Adkison.

Interestingly, 4 were kittens, 2 were championship and 2 were premiership cats.
