Our BenBox wireless video transmitter review takes a look at the features of the budget video transmitter device as well as testing it live in action. We got about 120 feet of wireless transmission in our tests, and it was fairly simple to setup. We streamed to our iPad and Cell phones and the signal was strong. If you're looking for the best cheap wireless video transmitter for filmmakers, the Inkee Benbox is hard to beat for the price. The Hollyland wireless transmitter and the Teradek may be more pro solutions, but for a cheaper alternative that can stream to 4 monitors, the BenBox definitely fills a niche for indie filmmakers. It's a great option as a wireless video transmitter for DSLR and smaller cameras especially.

There aren't too many cheaper Teradek alternatives out there, and the Inkee BenBox wireless transmitter is the only one we've see anywhere near $100. The Teradeks we've used cost over $2,000 and require additional monitors. With the Benbox video transmitter, we were able to use our existing devices to monitor with, and it was really convenient. We also liked the integrated battery in the BenBox HDMI wireless transmitter which is one less cable to worry about on our camera rig. It's also a wireless transmitter and receiver as the app will serve as the receiver, so you don't need to buy anything extra to make it work.
