(6:35) Askren goes on to say the hip issue wasn’t the reason he lost, he says he lost because he wasn’t good enough and how if he regrets not going to the UFC earlier than he did. (12:38) Askren says he never thought about his legacy because people are always going to talk about him and criticize his performances. (17:50) Askren continues the interview by saying his retirement in 2017 he wasn’t fully committed to ending his career but this time he is, due to his hip replacement. (23:10) Ariel asks Askren what he wants to do now that he’s retired, Askren says he will do some broadcasting and continue his coaching career.
