Belen to Dalies, NM in 4k April 2024 A meet, manifests, autorack, coal, grain and intermodals. This was another good day as there weren't terrible winds to ruin the audio. Not a boatload of trains, but quite a nice variety. I was surprised how many grain trains that I saw while I was out here. The area from Belen to Dalies is probably only 2025 miles, but I stayed in Belen for three nights and I wanted to hit Dalies before I headed west towards Gallup and Winslow. I don't know about you guys, but I feel like I need time to adjust to my surroundings, so I may start with only one angle and then pick more angles another day on another visit. As I was pulling up to Dalies, the Engineer was speaking to the Dispatcher trying to tell the Dispatcher that he might not be able to start his train if the train gets stopped on the hill. Dispatcher said that there is track work and therefore, only one main available and he wasn't going to stop a Z train for this train.

20:28 Bnsf coal train entering the crew change point at Belen while a Roadrunner arrived at its station. Lastly, the grain train that you saw at Belen (Rio Road) earlier is now pulling out of the crew change point and it has to fill up its DPUs.
