Tus análisis de cine

How did cinema represent one of the most controversial and important figures of the 20th century? Without a doubt, it was not easy for the actors who had this responsibility. There were shocking performances that left a mark, others that failed to achieve their goal, and also some in a mocking and ironic tone that date back more than 70 years.

In this video we are going to go over the different ways in which Adolf Hitler was portrayed over the years, to give you our point of view of which were the best and the worst. Stay until the end, let's get started.

To find out what the real Hitler was like, we take as reference the documentary Triumph des Willens, by director Leni Rifenstahl.

Among his realistic interpretations we mention the incredible work of Bruno Ganz in Der Untergang, Alec Guinness in Hitler: The Last Ten Days, Anthony Hopkins in The Bunker, David Bamber in Valkyrie and the brilliant performance of Robert Carlyle in Hitler: The Rise of Evil.

And finally, among his satires we highlight 'He's Back', played by Oliver Masucci, the episode 'You Nazty Spy' from The Three Stooges, the iconic 'The Great Dictator' by Charles Chaplin, Martin Wuttke's modest performance in Basterdos Sin Glory and finally the brilliant work of Taita Waititi in Jojo Rabbit.
