This is a tutorial on how to crochet a granny square to any size for beginner crocheters who already know how to crochet the basic stitches. I show how you can turn a small granny square into a giant granny square blanket and offer plenty of tips and tricks along the way. Although I use US terminology, people who want to use UK can also use this tutorial and every time I say double crochet, think treble crochet instead. This is the right handed version of this tutorial. There is a left handed version linked further down!

GRANNY LOVE CAL DETAILS

The Granny Love Crochet Along is running from 18th March to 31st May. We are making a giant granny square blanket or a granny stripes blanket, whichever you prefer. We will share our journey with eachother on social media and on the Meema Makes Crochet Club Facebook Group, offering support and encouragement to everyone who is joining in. If you want to make the exact blanket in this tutorial, it is called the Dreaming of Autumn Blanket and you can make it by following the CAL youtube tutorials.
