We are doing a new comparison for two of the best 5 seater airplanes in the industry. If you have about $100,000 budget to spend on your next airplane and you need to carry more passengers, The Beechcraft Bonanza and Piper Lance should be on your shortlist of airplanes.

Mission Both aircraft are capable cross country machines with similar performance characteristics. The Bonanza will take you up to 700 miles while the Piper lance will take you up to 800 miles

Design Which aircraft looks the best? well this really will depend on pilot and owner. Both airplanes are low wings with retractable landing hears. The piper lance will carry more load and it's got multiple doors for easy entry compared to the Beeachcraft Bonanza

Comfort Which aircraft can carry all five people in best comfort and relaxation? This is a bit tough because the cabin space for both airplanes are quite roomy and spacious. Piper lance does have more seats (1 to 2 more seats than the bonanza). Although those back seats in the Lance are facing each other so you would have to share leg room. The Bonanza, has great features to provide ore leg room in the front. You are able to tuck away the rudder pedals on the right side. Also the Bonanza has standard front facing seats.

Performance which is the best performing airplane? Beechraft Bonanza airplane has A Continental engine which has a power output of 280HP and allows the plane to cruise at 180 miles per hour. Whereas the Piper Lance uses a Lycoming engine with a power output of 300 horse power. This allows the aircraft to cruise at 165 miles per hour.
