I'm excited to share a new peek at my creative process! This episode shows me persevering despite multiple squirrel attacks, as I make characters out of acorns and photograph them feeding chipmunks.

UPDATE:
Hi folks. I appreciate the concern some of you have for the wellbeing of the squirrels in this video. Some people have rightly pointed out that Joonie was held together by hot glue and metal wire, and the squirrel may have unwittingly eaten some (non toxic) glue or bitten into metal. I’m sorry about that. It was never my intention for the squirrel to eat Joonie, and I don’t want it to happen again. As I mentioned in the video, it’s extremely rare for squirrels to be interested in Becorns and this incident caught me off guard. I’ll do a better job fending off squirrels in the future.

(I’m getting in the weeds here, but I’ll just add: in the past when I intentionally offered up the Becorns to the squirrels, I minimized the danger by gluing only on the exterior of the acorn caps, and leaving out the metal.)
