Thivya Viswanathan is an energy management professional specializing in commercial tourism and hospitality facilities. She holds a master's degree in Clean Energy Engineering from the University of British Columbia and now works as an Energy Analyst at theĀ Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association (TOTA), Kelowna, BC. With a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, she started her career as a Software Engineer and transitioned to the energy efficiency sector after discovering her passion for energy efficiency and renewable energy. She now works with the tourism businessesĀ in the Thompson Okanagan region of BC to help them understand their energy consumption and identify energysaving opportunities & rebates through energy assessments.

She is also a trained Climate Reality Leader, a LEED Green Associate, and has recently passed the Certified Energy Manager (CEM) exam.
