Huy's little station may not be well known, but Liège Guillemins, the work of architect Santiago Calatrava certainly is one of the most iconic 21st century stations so far built. And if you add onto that a cathedral of a station at Maastricht and a lovely regional hub at 'sHertogenbosch, then we are in for a great day of station spotting!

Oh and as we follow the River Meuse from Belgium into the Netherlands, there's also quite a lot of waterside scenery to be had too.
