Bear is definitely the proper name for this furry guy! He is about 55 pounds and 6 years old. He has a very regal demeanor, and like his namesake, he has a great coat of luxurious fur with a dash of a playful side. Bear loves to get a bit of a run in when he has the chance. On leash, he walks better every day, especially when lured with treats. Bear is very affectionate with people, including children! He recently visited a third grade class where he was so patient and gentle with the young kids. As for dogs, Bear is selective. After all, this guy is an adult with a generally calm demeanor. He is not up for puppy antics and wrestling. Bear would be thrilled with a daily walk and a good sniff of the yard. He would love to spend the rest of the cold winter keeping you warm on the couch!
