A brand new track for the British championship was built by master circuit designer Johnny Douglas Hamilton and provided an incredibly spectacular venue in the North East of England the first time the premier class has visited there since 1985.
Despite strong winds, the hardy crowd turned out in force at the Schoolhouse MX venue and the action was furious. Title hopefuls and teammates Conrad Mewse and Josh Gilbert went bartobar in both motos. With Ivo Monticelli, Evgeny Bobryshev, Harri Kullas and Tommy Searle pushing hard, it was an actionpacked race day.
