Battle of the Exciters - An Exciting Review About Shifter Tactile Feedback for Sim Racing

Follow
Stuyo

Today we are testing several popular Bass Shaker/Exciter modules for Sim Racing Tactile Feedback.
The intended use featured here is for adding feedback to shifter cluster. We chose this application as it is easy to actually provide some meaningful measurements. Furthermore this mounting point is hard to isolate and we can clearly see how localized effect will feel with all vibration loss in the rig construction.

Featured Units:
1. Dayton Audio TT25 PUCK Bass Shaker 15W
2. Dayton Audio DAEX58FP Sound Exciter 25W, 58mm
3. Dayton Audio EX30HESF24 Sound Exciter 40W, 30mm
4. Dayton Audio EX32U24 Sound Exciter 20W, 32mm
5. EX32EP24 Thruster Sound Exciter 40W, 32mm
