Two key scenes from Guy Hamilton's film Battle of Britain (1969) that Hugh Dowding reviewed in 1968 before writing to Keith Park to assure him of fair treatment.

Leonard Mosely, author of the 1969 book Battle of Britain: The Making of a Film, documented that Dowding took a while to comment after the lights had come up on the first scene because Laurence Olivier's accurate portrayal actually had him weeping.

Dowding had also approved of the second office scene, of this extract, in which Trevor Howard portrayed Keith Park in his battle with Trafford LeighMallory.
