When you need a stretch but the kids are sleeping on your feet. Gylfie the barn owl is a little less than gentle as she escapes the chicks but after a good stretch she's ready to get back to brooding.

This barn owl mum is now raising three chicks in a nest I made for her and her partner Finn from an old elm stump.
