Bariatric Surgery - I Didn't Need Gastric Sleeve Down 140lbs in Surprising Success Story

Eat Like A Bear!

I was approved for the bariatric surgery procedure, the gastric sleeve, in the summer of 2017 and by the summer of 2018 I had lost 140 pounds and had a new life as a result of my extreme weight loss. I may be my bariatric surgeon's #1 success story because (1) I lost 40% more weight than he projected and (2) I never did actually get the surgery and I no longer qualify.

I am now 30 pounds below my lowest previous adult weight. It is an unusual weight loss story, especially for a woman at 50 years old. If you are considering bariatric surgery, you really need to consider my message. You will find my before and after pictures in the video.

Here is "The Ridiculously Big Salad" book I mention:

My bariatric surgeon is in Bakersfield, California. I did consider Fresno, just north of Bakersfield. I considered locations in southern California, including Los Angeles, Anaheim, San Diego, Long Beach, Riverside, Irvine, San Bernadino, as well as north in San Jose, San Francisco, Oakland, Sacramento, and Stockton. Some people try to save money by going to Mexico for bariatric surgery, particularly Tijuana. Friends have considered bariatric physician Dr. Amy Lee in Los Angeles, as well as doctors in Denver, Tri State Bariatrics (in New York), Ultimate Bariatrics (in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas), Sage Bariatric in San Antonio, Texas, Peachtree Bariatrics in Atlanta, Georgia, Rex Bariatric in Raleigh, North Carolina, New Jersery Bariatric Surgery, Texas Bariatric Specialists, and practices in Tucson and Phoenix, Arizona; Salt Lake City, Utah; Cleveland, Ohio; Chicago, Illinois; Seattle, Washington; Portland, Oregon; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Detroit, Michigan; and Baltimore, Maryland. There are many options out there for the gastric sleeve procedure.

The bariatric sleeve surgery is a costly procedure with risks and potential complications. Is it really your last resort? I know it feels like it, but watch the video and decide if you too have one last thing to do before you take the plunge into the gastric sleeve bariatric surgery procedure.
