The Barbary sheep, also known as Aoudad, is a species of wild sheep that is native to the Atlas Mountains of North Africa. These majestic creatures are well adapted to their harsh environments, with their thick coat of reddishbrown fur providing insulation against the cold mountain climate.

One of the most striking features of the Barbary sheep is their impressive curved horns, which can grow up to 30 inches in length. These horns are used for defense against predators and also play a role in mating rituals, with males competing for dominance by engaging in horntohorn combat.
