Check fault codes, read hidden parameters from fluid temperatures, to ignition timing, and emissions function. For years on my cars I would go to local auto parts store to have the engine light on checked and fault codes read, but now I can do it myself on most vehicles.

I bought and used this to view my Subaru Forester's CVT Fluid Temperature in order to set the CVT fluid at the correct level. You can also check the CVT Fluid Deterioration Percentage.

I will tell you how I liked the Scanner & Apps (Torque App, and Active OBD), show you how to install the wireless reader, the OBD2 port location, go briefly over instructions, and get your device paired with the reader.
