Bacon Wrapped Dates Stuffed with Cream Cheese is everything anyone could long for in an hors d'oeuvre. It combines the sweetness of a Medjool date, the saltiness of crispy bacon, and the creaminess of cream cheese in one wildly addictive three ingredient treat. What could be better than that?

BACON WRAPPED DATES STUFFED WITH CREAM CHEESE
MAKES 18

18 pieces cream cheese (1by¼inch)
18 pitted dates (preferably Medjool
18 salted and roasted whole almonds
6 slices bacon, cut crosswise into thirds

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Fill each date with a piece of cheese and an almond. Wrap one piece of bacon each date and secure with a toothpick. Arrange dates, in a shallow baking dish, oneinch apart, with the seam of the bacon down.

Bake 5 minutes, turn dates over, and bake until bacon is crisp, 5 to 6 minutes more. Drain on paper towels. Serve immediately.
