Babbitt Pour 2024 Part Two

I'm bringing you along on my biggest babbitt pour since I left the shipyards back in 1994. The two bearings are from a work boat and supply support for a fiveinch propeller shaft, which was remachined to new custom diameters.
The Babbitt material is ASTM B23 Grade 1 Babbitt
Melting point solidus 223C 433F
Melting point Liquidus 371C 700F
Pouring temp 441C 825F
