· The coloring of the Buthus occitanus scorpion is yellowish, darker on the back and lighter on the rest of the body. During the day it usually stays under the stones in the warmest places and goes out to hunt at night, injecting its prey with the poison with its sting.

· The nests of these curious Asian wasps can be made of mud, although they also use a mixture of vegetable fibers that they chew until they create a texture similar to that of paper.
