I’m excited to finally try out the Australian Defense Force MRE! The ADF Combat Ration One Man, or CR1M for short, is designed to provide a soldier with food for a full 24hour period. I’ve dreamt about taste testing one of these rather elusive and expensive military field rations for years. Like the Meal Ready to Eat, the Aussie CR1M contains retort pouch mains and various shelfstable side items that can easily be consumed without much preparation. The included food is truly worldclass in both variety and quality.
