ECU Misfire? How to program into a used ECU when they are locked? OEM Tools cannot program used ECU's because the OEM software requires a blank or matching VIN to be able to proceed. There are advanced ways to be able to bypass that and use special tools to perform this task without that requirement.

In this video, we have a Audi MED9.1 with a bad driver for cylinder 9 and 10. Using an advanced programmer such as Flex, allows us to clone the ECU. This saves customers lots of $$$ and more importantly save the environment by reusing parts that otherwise would be thrown away.
