Assassin's Creed Shadows will be released on November 15, 2024 for PC and consoles and aims to combine the new direction of the last games with the old virtues of the series. Specifically, a huge open world is to be combined with the sneaking of a Mirage or older Assassin's Creed.

In the first trailer, Ubisoft introduces the setting and the two characters. Yasuke is the first historical figure to be the protagonist. In Shadows, the samurai meets the young woman Naoe, who loses her home in a brutal attack.
